Unique tiny house immersed in natural surroundings

This timber-frame tiny house was built as a reception space for the country estate De Hoorneboeg in Hilversum, the Netherlands. The cladding on the exterior of the prefab elements is HOTwood ash, a sustainable wood variety that weathers over time to a lovely, evenly grey patina.

Wooden tiny house immersed in natural surroundings

This practical, light-filled wooden house has large banks of windows that give a panoramic view of the natural surroundings. The covered deck is also constructed in thermal ash. The slightly convex surface of the decking boards allows for optimum water run-off.
