Oak gate in charred wood finish, Vlezenbeek

This double swinging gate in oak is certainly an eye-catching feature! With its dramatic black finish and clean lines, the wooden gate is completely in harmony with the home and surroundings. Moreover, it adds to the comfort and security of the residents.
The oak gate consists of an aluminium frame clad with oak profiles. We apply the black finish in our own workshop using Shou Sugi Ban, a Japanese technique that gives each plank a unique charred appearance and a matt black colour that weathers to a beautiful patina over time. Each of the square gateposts consists of a metal post clad with the same charred wood. A letterbox and video access device are integrated into the post on the left, where the house number is also presented in a stylish way.
